On November 3rd, you will make some of the most important decisions of your life. Your vote is crucial in determining the future of America: socialism or democracy. Don’t base your decision on the blatant lies prevalent on the news media and social media. The alleged failures of the current administration and legislative majority are easily debunked if you just do even a cursory search for the statistical truth. Please take a reality check.

On September 15th, the Reuters News Agency published an artical highlighting the recent findings of the Census Bureau regarding the economic state of the U.S. Reuters is widely considered one of the most reliable and objective news organizations in the world. The non-partisan Census Bureau released statistics showing that 2025 produced the highest median household income and the lowest official poverty rate in the history of the Bureau’s tracking of those statistics (over 60 years). Median household income was $87,460, an increase of 2.6% over the previous year. The number of people living in poverty was 34.5 million, or 10.2% of the population, a .5% decrease over the previous year. Sure, we all wish everyone made more money and fewer people were in poverty, but, let’s acknowledge the fact that it is the best in at least 60 years.

But these favorable statistics have not been steadily improving throughout the past decade. The after tax income during President Trump’s current term is up 3.9%. The next highest annual increase was in Trump’s first term at 3.1%. However, between Trump’s terms, President Biden’s term produced an after tax income decrease of 1.2%.

Okay, so the average incomes are up, and the poverty rate is down, but what about the inflation that is killings us?

Actually, the inflation rate when Trump left office in January of 2021 was 1.4%. That rate jumped to 9.1% during the Biden administration. Granted, Trump entered his second term in January of 2025 with inflation back down to 2.4%, and it is now slightly higher at 3.4%, mainly due to the war with Iran. But there is no doubt that we are still feeling the effects of the aftershocks of the 9.1% rate from the Biden years. That rate followed Biden and his Democratic majority House and Senate passing the American Rescue Plan ($1.9 trillion), the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act ($1.2 trillion), and the Inflation Reduction Act ($100s of billions). The Republican minority in both Houses vehemently opposed all three bills. That outlandish spending by the Dems increased the national debt by nine trillion dollars and sky-rocketed inflation.

Okay, but these soaring Trump gas prices, what are we going to do about them? Yes, gas is high almost totally the result of the essential Iran war. The highest average gas price during the Trump second term was $4.54. But let’s not forget the pre-war price of gas during the Biden administration peaked at $5.02.

The stock market reflects the confidence investors have in the U.S. economy. The S&P 500 is the measure of valuation for most companies in the market. It is up 28% since Trump took office (36% since his election). This rise included 64 record highs since he entered the White House with a Republican majority in both chambers of Congress (74 record highs since the election). How often does the media remind us of that? We only hear when there is a decline.

Well, what about the homeless living on the streets and others who can’t get jobs in this economy? The U.S. level of employment at the end of Trump’s first year of his second term hit an all-time high of 164 million. Although the latest number is down about a million from that, employment is still at a near record level. Unemployment is currently at a healthy 4.1%.

Have you heard the Democratic Party’s plan to deal with these issues? Neither have I. The Democrats are asking for your vote because: Trump bad, inflation bad, war bad, Israel bad.

So, yes, prices are high, especially gas, and that is the biggest concern expressed through every poll assessing American woes. It is what most Americans say they will be considering when they vote in November. Somehow many of us have lost sight of the critical necessity to defeat the nuclear threat of the most terroristic nation in the world. Unfortunately, most Americans refuse to seek the truth but would rather rely on the lies of the mostly left-leaning media. (By the way, not one mainstream medial outlet reported on the positive Census Bureau data). According to most media, inflation is out of control–the highest in history–gas is eating up everyone’s dwindling income, and the only hope is to elect a Democrat majority in the House and Senate, then hope for a Democratic president in 2028. That kind of erroneous thinking will turn over our great nation and your children and grandchildren’s future to a radical government open to socialism and with a disdain for democracy.

A Democratic majority Congress would pass socialist-leaning policies, reopen our borders to foreign criminals, hamstring law enforcement, raise taxes on everyone, attempt to impeach the president and members of his cabinet, try to restructure the Supreme Court, ditch the filibuster, move to discontinue the electorial college, establish Medicare for all, enact government funding for abortions, stop deporting illegal aliens, accelerate the the national debt to support unsustainable liberal policies, stop U.S. support of Israel, and much more that is aimed at destroying the capitalist democracy foundation and individual liberty that made America the greatest country in the history of mankind. Are we really going to turn our nation over to these radical socialists that the Democratic Party has become? Do we really hate Trump’s personality and high prices so much that we are willing to hand over America as we have known it to a party that is in complete chaos and inviting radical leftests to the table?

Before you vote, please do your own research and tune out the liberal media. Do it for your future family.
